Manual Therapy
Manual therapy refers to the various hands-on treatments that I offer. These manual therapy techniques include joint mobilizations and manipulations, muscle and fascia release techniques, and movement of the peripheral nervous system. My extensive post graduate certifications in manual therapy ensures that the hands-on treatments you receive with me are highly skilled and specifically tailored to your needs.

IMS/Dry Needling
Intramuscular stimulation (IMS) is a dry needling technique that involves a thin acupuncture needle being inserted into the trigger points of tight muscles to create a reflex relaxation effect. This allows for a “re-set” of muscle activity and improved movement of the surrounding anatomical structures.

Therapeutic Exercise
Strength, endurance, stability, flexibility, and postural control are the cornerstones of moving well! All manual therapy and needling treatments are combined with therapeutic exercise to facilitate long lasting change within the system.

Medical Acupuncture
Medical acupuncture is utilized in my practice for the treatment of acute and chronic pain. This can be a powerful adjunct to other treatment strategies to assist in re-balancing the nervous systems’ sympathetic and parasympathetic states.
